Kari Comer, M.S., CCC-SLP works at The George Washington University (GWU) as a Clinical Supervisor, Adjunct Professor, and Outreach Coordinator. She has a wide range of clinical experience and has worked in a variety of settings including home health, schools, and hospitals. She has a strong interest in international collaboration and has taught and supervised with many organizations abroad. Kari is the former member of the Washington, D.C. Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.
Kari received one of the 2016 Ten Outstanding Young American awards from Junior Chamber International for her professional accomplishments. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, and exploring D.C.

Brett Radosti is a pediatric audiologist at Children’s National Medical Center. He finds working with children to be incredibly rewarding and challenging. He is a nationally certified audiologist with professional associations including the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) as well as the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). He is excited to be the President-Elect of DCSHA and hopes to create a multidisciplinary dialogue moving forward. He currently lives in SE DC with his Fiancée, Brianna, and dog, Neville.

Kendra graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Master of Science in Communication Disorders. She is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with experience working with children and adults. She has served families in pediatric outpatient, educational, and early intervention settings in New York and the District of Columbia.
Kendra has cultivated a special love and professional focus on working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She believes in creating individualized intervention plans to promote social, emotional, and academic success. Kendra’s approach to therapy is family-centered where she develops strong and trusting relationships with her clients and their families. She is excited to serve on the DCSHA Board as Secretary.

Darius Thomas-Wallace is the founder/chief executive officer of Dynamic Therapy, LLC, a speech-language pathologist, mentor, and supervisor. Darius holds a unique background in evaluating and treating clients in schools, daycares, clinics, homes, and via telepractice. He has collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to address the communication and educational needs of clients with a wide variety of disability classifications, including autism spectrum disorder, emotional disturbance, intellectual disability, specific learning disability, speech-language impairment, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. Darius has also successfully increased pragmatics, language, articulation, and fluency skills in elementary, middle, and high school clients. In collaboration with families, Darius has provided early intervention therapy services for infants and toddlers with disabilities and developmental delays.
Darius has extensive volunteer experience including the District of Columbia Speech-Language-Hearing Association: treasurer (2018 – present), secretary (2016 – 2018), and student liaison (2015) and the National Black Association for Speech-Language and Hearing (NBASLH): board member (2019 – present), convention co-chair (2018 – present), and student representative (2016 – 2018). As student representative of NBASLH, Darius championed the initiative to give the role voting rights on the board. In 2014, he was selected to participate in the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Minority Student Leadership Program. Finally, Darius received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the Howard University Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. He also holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA and state licensures with Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland.
